Book a Bali Dive Charter

To book a Bali dive charter, message Bali Diving Charter on WhatsApp (+62 811-2859-0000) or email info@balidivingcharter.com with your dates, number of divers and certification level. We confirm a private boat, certified local dive guides and gear, then hold your slot with a deposit. Most bookings are confirmed within one business day.

We run private charters only — your boat, your group, your schedule. No mixed tourist boats, no fixed roster you have to fit into. Below are the packages, what each one includes, current pricing as of June 2026, and the exact steps to lock a date.

What can you book, and what does each package include?

Every charter below is private and departs from Sanur or Padang Bai (we confirm the launch point based on conditions and your chosen sites). Each trip includes a licensed boat with captain and crew, certified local dive guides, weight and tanks, drinking water, and surface intervals between dives. Bali Diving Charter is an independent operator; we work with certified local guides and we will tell you honestly when conditions or your certification level rule out a site.

How much does a Bali dive charter cost?

Pricing below is per charter (the whole private boat) unless noted, and is current as of June 2026. Prices move with fuel, season and group size, so treat these as starting points and ask for a written quote for your exact dates. Park and port fees for Nusa Penida are charged per diver and are listed separately.

Package Group size Price (IDR) Price (USD approx)
Bali Day Charter (2 dives) up to 4 divers from IDR 7,500,000 ~$460
Nusa Penida Charter (2–3 dives) up to 4 divers from IDR 9,200,000 ~$565
Discover Scuba Charter up to 2 guests from IDR 4,800,000 ~$295
2-Day Multi-Site Charter up to 4 divers from IDR 16,500,000 ~$1,010
Extra diver (any package) per person IDR 1,250,000 ~$77
Full gear rental per diver / day IDR 450,000 ~$28

USD figures use an indicative rate near IDR 16,300 to the dollar as of June 2026 and will shift with the exchange rate — your final invoice is in IDR. Nusa Penida marine park and port fees (roughly IDR 100,000–250,000 per diver, set by local authorities) are added at cost. We do not mark these up.

What’s not included, and what should you budget for?

Being upfront here saves surprises on the day. The charter price covers the boat, crew, guides and core diving logistics. It does not cover the items below, and you should budget for them separately.

  • Accommodation and meals on land (we can suggest options near Sanur or Padang Bai)
  • Marine park, port and conservation fees for Nusa Penida, charged per diver at cost
  • Dive certification courses (we run guided dives and Discover Scuba, not full PADI/SSI courses)
  • Travel insurance with dive coverage — we strongly recommend it, and it is your responsibility to arrange
  • Airport or hotel transfers, unless agreed in writing when you book

We make no promises about marine life sightings. Manta rays at Manta Point and the seasonal Mola mola near Nusa Penida are wild animals — common in their seasons, never guaranteed. Anyone who guarantees a specific sighting is not being straight with you.

How do you actually book and pay?

The booking flow is built to be fast and human. You talk to a person, not a form that disappears into a queue.

  1. Send your details. WhatsApp +62 811-2859-0000 or email info@balidivingcharter.com with dates, diver count, certification levels and any gear needs.
  2. Get a written quote. We reply with a package recommendation, a fixed IDR quote, suggested dive sites and the launch point — usually within one business day.
  3. Confirm with a deposit. A deposit (commonly 30%) holds your boat and crew for the date. We send payment details by bank transfer or a card link.
  4. Final briefing. Before your trip we confirm the meeting time, what to bring, and a weather check. Bali conditions change; if the sea is unsafe we will reschedule or refund the deposit rather than push a bad-weather dive.
  5. Dive day. Meet the crew, check your gear, dive your private charter.

Cancellation terms, balance due dates and reschedule rules are stated in writing in your quote before any money changes hands. Read them, ask questions, and only pay when you are comfortable.

Ready to set a date?

Tell us when you want to dive and we will check boat and guide availability for that day. Message Bali Diving Charter on WhatsApp at +62 811-2859-0000 or email info@balidivingcharter.com. Include your dates, how many divers, and whether anyone needs gear or is diving for the first time — that is enough for us to send a real quote, not a placeholder.
